Launching #CalgaryToSpace

Encouraging the aerospace industry in our community.
Inspiring, empowering, and educating students.

As the only student team in Calgary that has successfully designed, built, and sent a satellite into space, we provide a unique opportunity for students to contribute to real spacecraft and missions.

FrontierSat (CTS-SAT-1) launched on May 3, 2026 from Vandenberg Space Force Base aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket. It was injected into a 500 km Sun Synchronous Orbit, officially making history as Calgary's first ever student developed satellite.
We welcome students from all years and academic backgrounds, offering both leadership and learning opportunities while promoting diversity in STEM.
